There are many corporates who include some combination of the hiring manager or recruiter’s first or last name in the email address such as firstname.lastname@example.org search in google aaugustine and look what information comes up.
Search for the individual who created the listing
If you see the job on LinkedIn that means t is posted by the hiring manager or recruiter. Go thoroughly the post and look if it is specifically connected to any individual if it is then mentioning the name the cover letter to greet him/her.
Look for information about who the position reports to
If it is mentioned in the post that the position will report to the director of marketing but it does not include any specific name then search of that person’s name in LinkedIn for the current directors in the marketing department of the company. If it does not help then search in Google as well that might help you.
If you are with the research and still you are unable to find the name then what you should do next? Don’t let your frustration coming your way to write the old greetings such as Dear Recruiter or Dear Hiring Manager as these greetings will not help you at all in earning some bonus points.
